Library Orientation

Welcome to the new TFS library site!

Although this site is still under development, we want to assure you that this is just the beginning. Our library staff have helped create a space where you can now access more tailored content, essential research materials, and a growing collection of multimedia resources specifically curated for your field. We believe this is a solid first step in enhancing your academic and professional journey, and we’re thrilled to support your creative endeavors.

This initial phase provides quick access to the following resources:

  • Drama Online is a comprehensive digital library designed to support the study of plays, theater, and performance. This is perfect for those in the acting program.
  • ProQuest eBook Central is a small but growing collection of eBooks. Some of these ebooks are required for courses so be sure to check our collection prior to purchasing your textbooks.
    • Note, if you would like to read an ebook offline, you can do so by using Adobe Digital Editions. Let us know if you have any challenges downloading and using the software:

  • Kanopy films is a collection of accessible films required for course assignments. It is also a small but growing collection of resources.
  • Document Delivery is a free service to all TFS students, staff, and faculty for obtaining key text-based resources. For example, if you need a book chapter, magazine article, or journal article for a project, you can request this through the Document Delivery form. If we can fill the request, it will be emailed to your TFS based email free of charge.
  • If you have any challenges accessing the databases, please submit a service request to ASK TFS

If you have any questions or recommendations, please let us know.
