Lauren is an actor and Linklater Voice Teacher. She holds an MFA in acting from Columbia University in the City of New York where she trained with master voice teacher Kristin Linklater, and is one of only six coaches in Canada who have been accepted into the Designated Linklater Teacher Training program. She has performed in a number theatres, festivals, and films in Canada and in the USA. Favourite credits include: New York: Off-Broadway: “The Oresteia” and “Othello” (Classic Stage Company); Off-Off-B’Way: “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (Gorilla Rep), “Exposure” (Gene Frankel Theatre), and “Our Town” (13th Street Repertory Theatre). Toronto: Roles with The Guild Festival Theatre, Little Red, and various roles in films including “The Last Porno Show” which screened at TIFF in 2019. Recently she was seen in “Blood and Soil” (Theatre ARTaud) and has been workshopping a new play with Crow’s Theatre.
