Fern Levitt is an international award winning documentary producer and director who personally interviewed several of the world’s most respected leaders including President Clinton and Bush Sr., Edward Shevardnadze, former Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Soviet Union and President of Georgia, President Vaclav Havel, former dissident and first President of a free Czechoslovakia and President Mikhail Gorbachev of the former Soviet Union. Ms. Levitt was chosen to direct a bio on President Gorbachev to mark the 20th anniversary of Perestroika. The film, Gorbachev’s Revolution was presented at an evening honoring President Gorbachev in Washington D.C.
