Amy and her team have built custom websites, custom database applications, e-commerce sites and developing video targeted to the internet and cutting-edge marketing strategies. Implementing Pay-Per-Click campaigns and SEO strategies, her client based expanded to managing online presence for professional directories. She also has been retained by management groups to conduct Social Media workshops and seminars for corporate clients.
She was on the leading edge of Social Media when “Social Media” was just a buzz word in 2000 and had the opportunity to work some of today’s foremost gurus. She established Net Directives, Inc., a company focused on the providing Creative Web Solutions and strategies incorporating Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Marketing, Local Business marketing, Mobile App development, Marketing Video development and Internet Marketing. She has a green screen studio located in mid-town Toronto where she produces videos for clients and also serves as a photography studio for corporate headshots and product photography.
Born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba, Amy completed her undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science at York University and her Master’s degree in Economics from the Hong Kong University. Amy also has a diploma in Chinese Herbal Medicine and a diploma in Acupuncture and a diploma in Architectural drafting. She has hands-on working experience in many industries in the private sector.
She was also the Road Manager for Oscar Peterson, Ella Fitzgerald and Count Basie and his Orchestra, managing their European tours. She went on the road with them for two years. Her work in the entertainment industry continued with IMG‘s “Stars On Ice” – Canadian and US productions for five years.
On a personal note, she is happily married and has no time for walks on the beach but strives to be a couch potato once a week. No children but looking to adopt. Preferably, adult children who have an education, a job and a place of their own… they are currently taking applications.
